DAWN is the only agency in south King County with a dedicated mission of serving survivors of domestic violence and their children. Our service region is comprised of 16 cities and 5 unincorporated area councils and encompasses 2,134 square miles. We operate the only 24-hour Advocacy & Crisis Line and emergency confidential shelter in our service region.
There are many ways to support DAWN’s life-saving programs and services.
Workplace Giving
DAWN participates in most workplace campaigns across the state. This is an easy and efficient way to make a sustaining contribution to our organization – just write in “Domestic Abuse Women’s Network” on your donation form.

Recycle Your Old Cell Phone
You can make a difference in the lives of women and children seeking a future free of violence AND reduce your carbon footprint simply by donating your old cell phone for DAWN to recycle. To do this, you can drop your phone off at one of the following HomeStreet Bank branch locations:

Donate Your Car, Boat or RV To DAWN
Thinking of replacing your vehicle, RV, or boat? Consider the benefits of donating it to DAWN through Donate for Charity! By donating your vehicle to DAWN you can:
- Help to continue to provide critical services to survivors of domestic violence; and
- Receive a tax deduction for the auction sale price of your vehicle.
If you decide to donate your vehicle:
- It will be picked up free of charge
- It will be sold at auction
- Proceeds of the sale will go to support DAWN’s work
- You will receive a tax receipt for your donation
